Job Description: Applications are invited for several tenure track or fixed term faculty positions at Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank in the Department of Physiology, East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine.

The Department offers excellent opportunities for collaboration at molecular, cellular, or systems levels of integration.

The position is heavily research focused.

Faculty will have significant protected time initially to establish their research programs, but will be expected to train doctoral students and progressively contribute to teaching in medical, dental, and allied health professional students.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent in Physiology or closely related discipline. or M.D.

For advanced rank appointment, must have current, transferable, R01 level funding

Demonstrated strong publication record

Postdoctoral research experience

Demonstrated potential to establish a rigorous, extramurally funded research program.
