Job description: Radiation Oncologist with faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level (clinical or tenure track, dependent upon qualifications)

There is one position available.

Candidates for the position of Radiation Oncologist must have an MD or MD/PhD degree or equivalent. Applicants must have completed an accredited radiation oncology residency and be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology. Main clinical responsibilities will be at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital, but will also include time at our two satellite clinics in South Jordan and Farmington, Utah. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills. An interest and experience in doing clinical or basic research will be a valuable asset. Job duties for a radiation oncologist with a faculty appointment will include patient care in close collaboration with corresponding oncology teams, participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinics, research with mentorship by senior faculty as appropriate and teaching of radiation oncology residents. Workload will be distributed between clinical care and research depending on the successful candidate's research program.
