This is a great opportunity to join a collegial academic environment and work in a children's hospital ranked as one of the best in the US. The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Pulmonologist. The clinical focus of the position will be in general Pulmonology and Cystic Fibrosis. The Pediatric Pulmonologist will provide inpatient and outpatient pulmonary consultative services and shared call with other members of the division. Academic affiliation with the University of Utah School of Medicine provides for teaching opportunities for pediatric fellows, residents and medical students on a regular basis. In addition to clinical service and teaching, there is an expectation for academic work, including investigation, administration, as well as advocacy.

The Division has a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation accredited center caring for over 260 patients, a fully functional pulmonary function lab, an AASM accredited sleep center, a multidisciplinary aerodigestive program and a multidisciplinary technology dependent patient program. The division provides comprehensive clinical services in pulmonary medicine, including an asthma program, multidisciplinary management of airway disorders and neuromuscular disorders.

Qualified applicants must have an M.D. or D. O. degree, and must be Board Qualified or Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Pulmonology. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure Track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
