The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Utah is seeking candidates for a faculty position as a Nocturnist Hospitalist in the clinical track. Faculty rank is dependent upon qualifications of the applicant. Candidates must have an M.D. certification and be board certified or eligible, and eligible for a UT Medical License. We are an extremely stable group that is passionate about teaching and about hospital medicine as a career.

Highlights of this position include:
• Large majority of clinical duties are on teaching service
• Diverse career possibilities within the group (including teaching, leadership/administration, palliative care, thrombosis, quality improvement, research, and informatics) allow the individual to shape their career based on personal interests and goals
• Approximately 125 total nights of clinical work per year
• Organized educational and mentoring program within the group focused on career development
