Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

Minimum of an MA/MS and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

2 years in clinical experience.
Preference for applicants with experience in Women's health, commitment to health promotion and health topics important to the care of an older adolescent/young adult and international patient population.

License or Certificate:

Licensure as an advanced practice nurse prescriber and registered nurse or physician assistant in Wisconsin.

Position Summary:

Duties will be performed as a member of the Women's Health Clinic in a university setting, providing direct care to the diverse UW-Madison student community. The clinician in this position will maintain electronic records, participate in quality improvement activities, and other activities that connect University Health Services to UW-Madison campus life. The clinician will contribute to a supportive, healthy, and safe work environment that fosters mutual respect. Job duties will be performed in a respectful, non-judgmental, and nondiscriminatory manner, in accordance with the UHS policies. Strict confidentiality will be maintained. The clinician will work alongside, and with the support of the Women's Health Manager, who functions as his or her direct supervisor.

Additional Information:

This is a .9 FTE with schedule flexibility to be considered at time of hire, based on clinic need. Start date will be no earlier than date noted, but may be later.
