Degree and area of specialization:
No degree required.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Must have three or more years of purchasing, receiving, and/or storing perishable foods, supplies, and merchandise required.
Inventory control experience required.
Proven experience training, coaching and developing staff.
Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail.


License or Certificate:
Must have or ability to obtain Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety/sanitation certification within six months of hire.
Must have or ability to obtain current food managers license within six months of hire.

Position Summary:
This position serves as the Memorial Union and Union South loading dock manager and will manage the warehouse and food distribution operations of Wisconsin Union Dining & Hospitality. Areas of responsibility will include the supervision and training of delivery drivers; supervision of the warehouse and warehouse purchasing; supervision and training of inventory and purchasing procedures; and administrative duties.

Additional Information:
Ability to drive Medium Duty trucks and to operate a truck lift.
Ability to obtain forklift certification per OSHA standards.

This position reports to the Director of Support Services.
