Job Summary:

The University Services Associate 2 (USA 2) provides complex program and administrative support to the Department of Dermatology. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Department Administrator, and the Research Administrator for Dermatology. This position will assist in administrative tasks associated with the Dermatology physicians, Department's research program, and will assist SMPH Human Resources staff working with the Department to successfully recruit and hire new Department personnel.

This position will require incumbent to travel between three different Dermatology locations on campus: A) 1300 University Avenue, Rm 436, Madison, WI B) WIMR, 1111 Highland Ave, Rm 7403, Madison, WI and C) 1 South Park St., 7th floor, Madison, WI

Requirements:

1. Ability to work independently, to prioritize and work with several tasks and the ability to organize assigned work in order
to meet deadlines in an accurate, timely and confidential manner.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills, human relations skills, and verbal and written communication skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. Prior experience in a research environment,
either laboratory or administrative, is preferred.
4. High adaptability for working in a culturally diverse work environment.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in MS Word, Power Point and Excel is required.
7. Proficiency with internet searches and use of e-mail is required.

Schedule Comment:

The usual work hours will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The exact work schedule will be set upon hire.
