Position Summary:
The Department of Genetics in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Faculty positions include a commitment to the important functions of research, instruction, and outreach, as well as professional and university service as appropriate to faculty rank.

The Department of Genetics is part of the UW Laboratory of Genetics (www.genetics.wisc.edu), which includes 21 faculty members with diverse research interests focused on using genetic analyses and model organisms to interrogate biological systems. The department is a hub for genetic research and training on campus and offers opportunities for collaborations with faculty in basic and translational science departments.
