Advertised Salary:

Minimum $35,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's Degree is required.
Master's Degree in public health, clinical investigation, or related field preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Requires excellent communication skills particularly in developing strong working relationships with community partners, patients, providers, and other health care staff. Preferred experience in conducting health services or clinical research, managing multi-disciplinary health-related research teams, and executing both quantitative and qualitative research.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational and management skills critical.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint are required.
Experience with qualitative research software, including NVivo, preferred but not required.
Ability to plan, organize, lead and manage projects within deadline and budget parameters and achieve measurable results.
Ability to take responsibility to meet deadlines and initiate tasks without close supervision.
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively

Position Summary:

This position will serve as a key research member of the University of Wisconsin Tele-ophthalmology Program (UWTOP). The mission of the UWTOP is to improve the quality, effectiveness and implementation of tele-ophthalmology care through research and innovation. The candidate will assist UWTOP investigators in a variety of research areas, including coordination of research teams and research projects as well as execution of research. Additionally, he or she will play a key role in communicating with community stakeholders, patients, providers, and other health care staff.
