Degree and area of specialization:

RN required. BSN preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

2 years nursing experience preferred (7 years required for the senior level); experience as clinical research coordinator and/or with cardiovascular medicine also preferred.

License or Certificate:

Active WI Nursing License Required

Position Summary:

The Research Nurse Coordinator will participate in clinical trial subject screening, consent, enrollment, outpatient and inpatient visits and procedures, including but not limited to performing: vital sign measurements; 12-lead ECG; phlebotomy for laboratory sample collection; insertion, maintenance and discontinue IV lines; vascular hemodynamic studies (ABI, pulse volume recordings, segmental BP); apheresis; processing of blood samples; selection of stem cell product; and safe administration of medications during study procedures. This will involve participation in training and routine training updates.
