Advertised Salary:
Minimum $55,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:
B.S. required (M.S. preferred), in Computer/Electrical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Biological/Medical Science with relevant coursework and experience.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Must have a working knowledge of C/C++, C# and/or Java, Python, and experience with Matlab. Experience with relational data bases (Oracle, MySQL or SQL) desired, but not required. Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in computer systems and software development. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in a research lab and interests in neuroengineering and neuroscience are desirable, but no required.

A minimum of 7 years of experience is required for appointment at the senior level. Prefix will be determined by years of relevant work experience.

License or Certificate:


Position Summary:
Collaborate with neuroengineering and medical research carried out in the laboratories of Dr. Williams and Dr. Populin at the Wisconsin Insititutes for Medical research to design and implement data acquisition and analysis/database tools.
