The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison is growing its faculty in the area of Mobile Systems, and is seeking faculty candidates for a tenure-track position in this area. Specific examples of Mobile Systems expertise include, but are not limited to, Wireless Technology, Sensor Applications, Energy Management, Environment-Aware Applications, Network Services, Security/Privacy, Computer Architectures and Cloud Services. Candidates who transcend traditional boundaries between computer engineering and electrical engineering to address mobile applications are especially encouraged.

Preference is to hire at the Assistant Professor level, although exceptionally well qualified candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level may be considered. Candidates for Associate or Full Professor must possess academic credentials to qualify for a tenured faculty appointment at UW-Madison.
