Degree and area of specialization:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Related Field Preferred.

- 3 to 5 years of Point of Sale (POS) Management/ Menu Management Experience Preferred.
- College or University Food Service Experience Preferred.
- 2 to 3 Years of Large Scale Food with at least $1 Million in Revenue Preferred.

Position Summary:
The Division of University Housing is committed to providing an exceptional workplace for its workforce of approximately 450 career staff members and over 2,000 students. University Housing operates nineteen residence halls across the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, providing a home to over 7,400 undergraduate students. Dining and Culinary Services has locations in six buildings throughout campus including Markets, Convenience Stores, Catering, and Coffeehouses. Dining and Culinary Services provides affordable and innovative dining options to residents, guests, and staff

Under the general direction of the Dining and Culinary Services, Assistant Director-Systems/Purchasing at University Housing, this position will assist in leading the department to the goal of creating an exceptional customer service experience for both internal staff, and external and internal customers. In addition this position will work in all areas across Dining and Culinary Services in supporting the mission of University Housing.
To assist in achieving these goals this position will manage the data bases of our Point-of-Sale and Menu Management system providing a usable and accurate database for daily operations, and facilitate long term planning in these areas. In addition this position will provide training and support to all users of the POS/Menu Management programs, while providing daily support to our dining units. This position will also oversee the daily work of Dining Administrive Office Front Desk.
