Degree and area of specialization:
Bachelor's degree required in a related field.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum of 2 years professional experience working with as part of a collaborative project with non-profit and/or state agencies (such as addiction treatment providers, community-based organizations, and single state agencies). Professional experience with and knowledge of the addiction treatment field is desired.

A minimum of 7 years of experience is required for appointment at the senior level. Prefix will be determined by years of relevant work experience.

Must show demonstrated leadership, self-confidence, creativity, initiative, attention to detail and the ability to work independently to manage and coordinate a team oriented environment. Incumbent must also have excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to research and synthesize information in both written and oral form.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs expected.

Position Summary:
The Outreach Program Manager will work as part of a larger team to develop strategies and programming to address the opioid crisis in the Great Lakes region of the midwestern United States. The incumbent will lead teams in delivering behavioral, technical and training assistance as part of a federal Opioid State Targeted Response Assistance project.

With limited supervision, the incumbent will assure that the assigned projects activities, data management, and project deliverables are achieved.
