OFFICE OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE


Position Summary:
The Office Operations Associate will be expected to function as the first line representative for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) housed at Alumni Hall. This position will support the Business Services office, the DFMCH Finance team, and the department as a whole in an administrative capacity in the front desk position.

Position responsibilities require excellent administrative, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills. The person in this position must present a positive and caring customer service attitude in all personal and telephone interactions and communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, residents, and the general public utilizing discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Position requires the ability to multitask, exercise initiative, self-motivation, independent judgment and action. This position may oversee the activities of other reception staff. Duties are performed under general supervision and the position reports to the Business Office Manager.

Requirements:

Starting pay is based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $16.00 per hour.

Requirements:
Ability to greet guests and act as point of contact for internal and external guests.
Knowledge in use of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Exceptional organization skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Some early morning and evening hours may be required.
Ability to stay until 4:30 pm to cover planned absences.

Flexibility in hours may be considered if they meet operational needs:
-Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (10 hour days)
-9 hour days (one half-day off each week or one full-day off every other week)

Minimum $14.25
