Job Summary:
This position provides administrative support in the UW-Madison, FP&M, Physical Plant, Customer Services Center and works under the general supervision of the Program Assistant Supervisor - Advanced. Responsibilities include receiving and processing service requests for the Physical Plant shops, providing receptionist and paging services for Facilities, Planning and Management, and assisting in job cost accounting and time keeping for payroll processing activities. Knowledge of the organizational structure, the Physical Plant maintenance, departmental, and remodeling responsibilities, possession of excellent communication skills, and the ability to have good judgment to make instant decisions in a constantly changing and stressful environment, is imperative to the person working in this position.
