Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this position provides program support to the Communicable Disease Division's supervisory, professional, and administrative staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, understanding and use of medical terminology, entry of patient demographic, clinical, and billing data; interpreting patient history and diagnoses into the patient database; responding to requests for medical information; maintaining medical/patient records and reports; performance of routine programming tasks as needed to create reports; maintenance of peripheral equipment and inventory of computer and laboratory supplies; and participate in the development of policies, procedures and guidelines to improve administrative and/or operating effectiveness.

7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some flexibility with this schedule may be necessary in the event of a public health emergency.
