Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in Public Relations, Strategic Communications, or Marketing.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Certificate in Entrepreneurship or direct experience in a startup a desirable. Candidates must be independent, reliable and innovative. Direct experience in Primary and Secondary Research, Data Analysis, Project Management, Storyboarding, Graphic Design, Media Planning and Content Creation is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web design and implementation preferred.

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant post-graduate, professional work experience. A minimum of 7 years of post-graduate, professional work experience is required for appointment at the senior level.

Position Summary:

The Department of Surgery is seeking a highly motivated marketing specialist. This position works with 10Newtons, directed by Dr. Carla Pugh, in the Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery and is responsible for the administration, communication and marketing of the business model created through the Discovery 2 Product (D2P) venture.
