Job Summary:
Starting pay is based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $17.25 an hour.

Under general supervision, provide a wide variety of human resource activities for assigned departments in the areas of recruitment, compensation, training and general administrative support to the College of Letters and Sciences Human Resources Office. This position advises departmental representatives on payroll and staffing procedures. Function as a resource contact disseminating information on rules, regulations, procedures, statutes; assist in departmental training program and provide general administrative support to the L&S Human Resources Office.

The College has approximately 90 departments, centers and support units. The College employees 1700 graduate assistants, 715 research assistants, 800 academic staff and limited employees, 350 university and university fixed term staff, 150 temporary employees, 175 employees-in-training and more than 500 student hourly appointments.
