Minimum $48,072 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and area of specialization:
MD, DO or MD/PhD; Must be Board prepared or eligible in Medical Oncology or dual boarded in Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Clinical and research interest in gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies required.

Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in medical oncology with significant clinical trial experience preferred.

Candidates for associate or full professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines.

License or Certificate:
Eligible for Wisconsin medical license

Position Summary:
The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) and the Division of Hematology/Oncology and Palliative Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, is seeking applicants for a full-time professor, associate or assistant level medical oncologist with an interest in clinical and translational research in gastrointestinal malignancy to join our faculty. This position would be active in multi-disciplinary GI oncology programs including pancreas, liver, colorectal, esophagus, and precision medicine, with a focus in a designated disease/organ of interest.
