Degree and area of specialization:
MD, DO or MD/PhD; Must be Board prepared or eligible in Hematology, or Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Clinical and research publications in hematological malignancy and bone marrow transplantation (BMT) is required.

Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in hematology and/or medical oncology with significant clinical experience in BMT is required.

The completion of a BMT fellowship is preferred.

License or Certificate:
Eligible for Wisconsin medical license

Position Summary:
The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) and the Division of Hematology/Oncology and Palliative Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin is seeking applicants for a full-time professor, or associate level hematologist and/or medical oncologist, with an interest in leading our Bone Marrow Transplant clinical and translational research programs.

The UW Bone Marrow Adult Transplant Program performs more than 200 transplants annually, including both allogeneic and autologous transplants. In 2018, our program began CAR-T therapy for our adult patient population. Our program is a growing multidisciplinary team of transplant professionals, working together toward the goal of providing the best possible care for our patients. The candidate will help develop a strategic framework to build and support our BMT and cellular therapy program, provide direct patient care, academic teaching, and conduct clinical research at the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
