Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide financial accounting, budgeting and analytical services for the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology (MMI). This position functions under the general supervision of the Department Administrator. This position performs responsible accounting, and record keeping, requiring the application of established accounting principles and procedures for an assigned group of projects within the Department. Assigned projects include grants, contracts, gift funds, School funds and chargeback accounts.

The scope of this position includes independent personal contact with campus administrative offices within and outside the School of Medicine and Public Health including regional and national vendors, sponsors, and faculty and staff within the Department and School. Interaction with the Department Administrator, as well as the Department Accountant and Research Administrator occurs daily.

Schedule Comment:
Normal hours are 8:00AM-4:30PM. Monday-Friday with limited flexibility.
