Job Summary:
Starting pay is based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $18.03 an hour for the Financial Specialist Senior.

This position is responsible for financial duties for performance ensembles within the Mead Witter School of Music in the College of Letters and Science. This role is an advanced level Financial Specialist within the Mead Witter School of Music (MWSoM) that has been granted full accounts payable delegation from UW-Madison Purchasing Services. In addition to issuing specific purchase orders and noncontract blanket orders, the Purchasing Office issues orders against UW-Madison, UW System, and Department of Administration contracts.

Personal contacts and scope and impact of work extend to many campus administrative offices within and outside the College of Letters and Sciences as well as to vendors and granting agencies located throughout the United States; the position inter-relates with the MWSoM Director/Department Chair, Accountant, faculty, and staff.

Schedule Comment:
Schedule will be between 50-58%. On site up to 23.25 hrs/wk Mon-Fri between the hours of 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
