Job Summary:
This position functions as the sole facility repair worker for the College of Engineering (CoE), which includes coordination of activities in multiple buildings. The College of Engineering consists of (8) buildings, which accommodates complex research and instructional spaces for undergraduate and graduate education. This position requires an understanding of woodworking, masonry, plumbing, electrical and custodial services.

A major portion of the duties require direct interaction with faculty, staff and students which demands a high level of customer service skills. This position will also interact with Facilities Planning and Management (FP&M) as well as outside vendors. This position will work with CoE student workers to help carry out the activities described below. This position will also provide general support for facility functions such as room arrangements for special events/meetings and office/laboratory moves for faculty and staff. This position also provides back-up support for the Ship and Mail Associate as needed, will also assist the Director of Safety for CoE with compliance related tasks. This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Facilities.

Requirements:
English Proficiency Required - This position requires one or more of the following abilities: ability to speak, read, write, and/or understand verbal instructions in English

Additional Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds with acommodation.
