EVENT COORDINATOR


Position Summary:
Reporting to the Curator of Education, the Event Coordinator will contribute to the successful execution of events by overseeing implementation and coordination for events such as monthly drop-in gallery programs, exhibition openings, musical concerts, and external event requests from UW-Madison and beyond. This individual will correspond with event stakeholders to plan and implement events, coordinate all logistical details, and serve as the primary point of contact during the event. The individual should demonstrate proficient decision-making, the ability to remain calm and flexible under pressure, and have exceptional communication skills. This position is expected to work 25 hours/week, with the occasional need to work up to 30 hours/week. The weekly schedule may vary and will require some evenings and weekends.
