Job Summary:
The Divisional Financial Specialist supports the Division of Enrollment Management by providing operational support in the main areas of purchasing, expense reimbursements, and financial management/reporting. This includes providing guidance and support to the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment, Office of Student Financial Aid, and the Office of the Registrar.

This position will interact with a broad financial landscape that includes 101, 128, 136, 145, 147, 148, 233, and 402 funds and projects with annual expenditures of approximately $18 million. Duties are wide-ranging, but primarily focuses on providing the highest level of customer service to staff within the division while adhering to divisional, university, and UW System policies and best practices.

This position is a member of the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and reports to the Director for Administration and Chief Financial Officer. This position is part of a greater administration team that includes the Divisional HR Manager and an HR Assistant Advanced.

The Divisional Financial Specialist role requires a high degree of independent judgement, autonomy, and carries a potential for great consequence of error, while managing all duties pertaining to purchasing, expense reimbursements, and financial management/reporting.
