Degree and area of specialization:
Minimum Master's degree required, preferably in a health sciences profession.
We seek candidates who are tenured or who have the qualifications necessary to become tenured at UW-Madison in any health sciences profession.


Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
- Significant leadership experience in interprofessional education and practice, healthcare institutions and/or graduate academic health education programs.
- Expert knowledge of academic and healthcare disciplinary culture and practice.
- Interprofessional education and practice experience (more than 6 years) in a healthcare and academic institution.
- Experience with program development, management, and leadership.
- Experience with local/state/federal funding agencies/foundations and grant writing.
- Experience in developing and managing annual budgets
- Evidence of leadership and participation in interprofessional conferences, training, and/or research.


License or Certificate:


Position Summary:
The position reports to a health sciences dean (School of Medicine and Public Health, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, or School of Veterinary Medicine) and the Health Sciences Council, which is comprised of the health sciences deans and chaired by the provost. Duties are as follows:

This position is required to have a concurrent faculty appointment.

To become tenured, the candidate's qualifications must be sufficient to meet the requirements for tenure at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, at the rank of Associate Professor or above. We seek candidates who are tenured or who have the qualifications necessary to become tenured at UW-Madison in any health sciences profession.

Staff members in any health sciences profession, not eligible for tenure, are encouraged to apply under our separate PVL 93910.
