Job Summary:
The University of Wisconsin Press was established in 1936 and is part of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education (OVCRGE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The UW Press is a nonprofit publisher of books and journals. It employs over 20 staff (including academic and university staff, limited term employees, and graduate and undergraduate students). The press currently publishes approximately 50 books per year and 11 journals, in both print and electronic formats.

Working under general supervision of the Journals Manager, the Circulation and Business Development Associate is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships for both individual and institutional subscribers to content published by University of Wisconsin Press Journals Division with an emphasis on increasing the reach, readership, and revenue of the Journals Division. This includes working collaboratively with the Marketing Specialist to identify and manage outbound sales opportunities and to develop new campaigns. This position also works with the business office of the press and is responsible for undertaking some basic financial processes for the Journals Division.
