Degree and area of specialization:
DVM or equivalent degree.


Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Advanced training in dentistry and oral surgery required.

Large animal/equine and/or zoologic species dental experience is preferred but not required.

License or Certificate:
Must maintain a Wisconsin License to practice veterinary medicine.

Board certified or board eligible in the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) or European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC) is necessary.

Position Summary:
The Department of Surgical Sciences of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine seeks applicant for a position as a Tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor in the Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery section.

Additional Information:
This position is being announced simultaneously with PVL 93368; please note only one vacancy exists. Having two position vacancy listings allows the School of Veterinary Medicine to consider candidates with both tenure-track credentials and non- tenure track credentials for this position.

Applicants will also be considered who are eligible to take the AVDC board certifying examination.
