ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT


Position Summary:
This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Directors of the Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education (CIPE) and the Manager of Continuing Education and Professional Development in the School of Nursing. The position also provides program support for interprofessional education (IPE), continuing education, and joint accreditation activities.

The individual in this position is expected to utilize a considerable amount of independent action, initiative and judgment, exercising a high level of administrative, problem solving and analytical ability. Exceptional organizational and customer service skills are needed. The individual must also possess a positive attitude, exercise accuracy and professionalism, strive to cultivate and maintain a cooperative relationship with faculty, staff, students and visitors, and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

Knowledge and experience in working with different health educational programs preferred.

Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree completion preferred.

A criminal background check will be required prior to employment
