Job Summary:
This position provides administrative support to the faculty members in the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division and its programs (e.g., global health, pediatric complex care, an emerging hospital medicine fellowship, etc.), and provides direct support to the division chief and medical director. Position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills in coordinating complex daily clinical, academic, and research administrative activities. This position interfaces with physicians, administrators, staff, and researchers locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. The responsibilities require considerable independence of planning, decision-making, and communication skills while maintaining confidentiality.

The focal areas for this position include providing administrative support in project management, improvement initiatives, marketing strategy, Complex Care Program, and travel.

Additional Requirements:
- Minimum one-year experience providing administrative support in an office setting is preferred.
- Previous experience providing administrative support in a medical setting is preferred.
- Computer experience in Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, independent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and organization, and an outgoing and energetic service-oriented approach required.

Schedule Comment:
Business hours Monday-Friday, specific hours will be determined upon hire. Position may be filled at either part or full time (50-100% FTE).
