Job Summary

Conditions of Employment

This position, during the course of university employment, will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value, as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 18. Physical Demands

Successful candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on frequent basis and carry up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis. Successful candidate must be able to pass a pre-placement physical. Required Qualifications:

-One to two years' experience supervising or directing others in large-scale housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance or custodial work.
-Valid driver's license
-Minimum age of 18.
-Physical ability to do the job.

Specific Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Must have prior cleaning or custodial experience.
Must be able to work different shifts and days.
Must be able to read, write and understand written documents.
Must have basic Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, and experience using an email system.

Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency and/or diversity.
