Huntsman Cancer Institute ( HCI ) in conjunction with the Department of Medicine, Division of Oncology, at the University of Utah, invites applications for faculty positions in the tenure-track from established Physician-Scientists with expertise in laboratory or population science to contribute to the development and leadership of our translational cancer research programs. Successful candidates will emphasize integration of science and clinical research or establish leadership with a vision for development of laboratory or population research that would emphasize bench to bedside translation. Particular interests for HCI and Division of Oncology include areas of Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Breast or Sarcomas and Genomics/Epigenomics and Immunotherapy. Applications are invited from Board Certified/Board Eligible medical oncologists who have a record of extramural ( NCI or equivalent) funding as a principal investigator. Significant resources, including a comprehensive start-up package, guaranteed salaries, and protected time for research are available. Candidates will be considered at the advanced Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels. Exceptionally qualified candidates will be eligible for appointment to endowed professorships.
