The Division of Nephrology & Hypertension at the University of Utah is recruiting an Assistant Professor in the Research track. The individual must hold a Ph.D. or M.D. degree and excel in molecular and protein biology (eg. western blots, CRISPR , real-time PCR , protein purification, kinase assays), cell biology (eg. cell culture, cell-based assays, immunocytochemistry), imaging (eg. confocal and two-photon), and physiology assays (eg. fluorescence-based detection methods and ion flux assays). Preference will be given to candidates possessing recent peer-reviewed publications as first or second author. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and funding and appropriate laboratory space will be provided.
