The University of Utah seeks BE/BC general cardiologists, with preference given to candidates with one or more years of post-fellowship experience whose specialized expertise compounds that of the Cardiovascular Medicine Division. You should have an interest in a clinical academic career, including teaching, clinical care, clinical research and other scholarly activities. Applicants must possess a M.D., be ABIM board certified, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine, and must be eligible for a medical licensure in the state of Utah. Candidates must be thoroughly trained in general and non-invasive cardiology with preferences for training in diagnostic cardiac catheterization, nuclear cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease. Duties will include general cardiology clinics, inpatient consultation and coronary care service, and rotations in echocardiography and diagnostic catheterization. Candidate must also be qualified to serve in the affiliated Veterans Administration Medical Center. Rank and Track will be commensurate with qualifications. Recruitment is ongoing until a suitable candidate is identified or the search is closed.

The University of Utah has state-of-the-art labs and excellent support staff working within a vibrant academic setting. The outpatient settings include University of Utah Health Network Clinics, the hospital's satellite clinics, and its hospital-based clinic. In-patient services are provided at the University Hospital and Veteran's Administration Hospital.
