Family Medicine Physician Faculty
Family Medicine Residency Curriculum Committee

The Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, Division of Family Medicine, is looking for outstanding physician educators to join our multi-disciplinary faculty. We are committed to excellence in patient care, the highest standard of training for medical students and residents, and participation in multi-disciplinary scholarship. Qualifications
1. Board certification by The American Board of Family Medicine
2. Unrestricted Utah State medical license
3. Experience in teaching or scholarship is preferred.

Responsibilities
The Curriculum Committee at the University of Utah Family Medicine Residency has primary accountability for all aspects of residency education. Responsibilities include:
• 0.5 FTE in curriculum development and implementation
o Curriculum development and supervision of rotations
o Scholarly projects
o Teaching in didactic and small group formats
o Mentorship and evaluation of residents
• 0.1 FTE in clinic attending of residents
• 0.4 FTE in direct patient care activities.

Obstetrics practice is encouraged with this position. Clinical resources include:
• In-house back up from the University of Utah Department of OB- GYN
• Manageable call schedules
• Favorable malpractice environment
