Title IX Investigator

Baylor University is seeking a conscientious professional as a Title IX Investigator. This position is responsible for collecting the relevant facts when a Title IX incident is reported, and is tasked with writing a formal, comprehensive summary of the findings in each incident. Additionally, this position will support the day-to-day responsibilities of the university’s Title IX compliance obligations, and work with student groups to ensure students are knowledgeable of their options and resources as they relate to reporting or filing a Title IX complaint. This position reports to the Deputy Title IX Coordinator.

 

The successful candidate for this position will have:

 

  • Experience conducting investigations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Title IX and VAWA
  • Prior knowledge and experience handling issues related to gender-based violence
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Professional-level writing skills
  • The ability to manage the stress associated with working with sensitive issues of violence and trauma

 

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree, three years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master’s degree and seven years of relevant work experience are preferred.
