Faculty Position K-12 Educ. Policy & Leadership

Tenure-track, Open Rank, Faculty Position K-12 Education Policy and Leadership

The Department of Leadership, Policy and Organizations (LPO) invites applications for an open rank tenure-track faculty position in K-12 Education Leadership and Policy.  The Department seeks a scholar who studies the organization of schooling and/or the social dynamics within schools that impact learning and teaching.   Social scientists trained in sociology, psychology, organizational behavior, education, or other relevant fields are encouraged to apply.   We are open to the methodological approach, with a preference for researchers specializing in mixed methods and/or survey research.  Areas of focus within this realm may include, but are not limited to, leadership and/or organizational systems.

Junior candidates should have a promising program of research and a commitment to seeking external funding. Candidates that are more senior should have an established program of research and a record of accomplishment in securing external funding.
