MSCC-Adjunct Instructor: Medical Lab Technician

Title: Adjunct Medical Lab Technician Instructor
Motlow State Community College is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach day and evening Medical Lab Technician classes. Adjunct Faculty are part-time temporary Instructors who may teach no more than 9 credit hours per semester and are hired on a per semester basis. Adjunct Faculty must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The primary responsibility of adjunct faculty is to provide quality instruction for the students. In addition to teaching, the minimum faculty responsibilities to the college include the following: preparing course materials, preparing course outlines, reporting attendance at the beginning of the semester, and submitting grades at the end of the semester. Adjunct Instructors are also responsible for making students aware of academic resources such as tutors, writing centers, Smarthinking, The Student Success Center, completion coaches, etc.

Requirements: A Bachelor's (or higher) Medical Lab Technician degree from a regionally accredited institution, a Medical Laboratory Professional License, and three years of clinical laboratory experience.
