is accepting applications for the following position:

Title: Adjunct EMT Paramedic Instructor
Motlow State Community College is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach day and evening EMT Paramedic classes. Adjunct Faculty are part-time temporary Instructors who may teach no more than 9 credit hours per semester and are hired on a per semester basis. Adjunct Faculty must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The primary responsibility of adjunct faculty is to provide quality instruction for the students. In addition to teaching, the minimum faculty responsibilities to the college include the following: preparing course materials, preparing course outlines, reporting attendance at the beginning of the semester, and submitting grades at the end of the semester. Adjunct Instructors are also responsible for making students aware of academic resources such as tutors, writing centers, Smarthinking, The Student Success Center, completion coaches, etc.

Requirements: An Associate's degree with a minimum of two years of experience practicing in the pre-hospital environment. Being currently licensed as a Tennessee EMT-Paramedic, without a history of revocation, denial or suspension of licensure is required. The position also requires a minimum of two years' experience in EMS instructor. Completion of an EMS Board approved trauma, cardiac and pediatric courses are required.
