General Function:
The Senior Infrastructure Administrator works under the supervision of the Director of Technical Operations. The responsibilities include managing and maintaining a web-based queue of tickets assigned and hours billed to show initiative to address items based on priority/severity level. Plan, coordinate and implement network/systems security measures that protect data, software and hardware.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma plus 5 years' experience working in a related field, or an Associate Degree/Technical Certificates plus 3 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience must include network administration, systems administration, design, and support activities in multi-user network environments (i.e. Active directory knowledge, Cisco IOS, Meraki and Office 365). Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others and have a customer-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator (Active Directory)
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification
• Advanced Linux systems administration
• 5 or more years troubleshooting very complex systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent high priority projects Ability to deal effectively with people in all stages of employment throughout the company
• Proven ability to operate in extreme high-pressure situations, meet deadlines, and delegate work to other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within guidelines
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
(Duties and responsibilities listed are examples of work performed and may be modified as needs of the College may dictate)
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in an efficient and timely manner.
• Create and provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems
• Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills and the ability to self-manage and prioritize a dynamic workload.
• Provide customers with technical assistance and information for all Motlow campuses.
• Assist customers through walkthroughs by providing them with step by step instructions.
• Attempt to resolve customers' problems by providing them with self-fix guidance.
• Look through generated tickets and add resolutions pertaining to information and minor problems.
• Office 365 administration.
• Linux administration. (RedHat)
• Veeam backup administration.
• Microsoft systems administration.
• Firewall, router, access points, and switch administration. (Meraki, Cisco etc.)
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours per day.
• Technical assistance for all users on the Motlow Campuses.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned
