Position Summary:
Provide programming support for processes of the application systems of the college to allow users to complete their work in a timely and efficient manner.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, write, modify and/or implement in-house and vendor-supplied application systems and programs.

Develop understandable and detailed procedure documentation.

Analyze and determine feasibility of programming requests, make appropriate recommendations.

Research solutions to processes, procedures, programming issues, and problems.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in an information systems related discipline with one (1) year of relational database programming experience using SQL, PL/SQL, and/or Pro C; OR Associates degree in an information systems related discipline and four (4) years of relational database programming experience using SQL, PL/SQL, and/or Pro C.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience writing programs in an Oracle environment.

Experience in relational database programming using other object oriented based programming languages.

Experience in the designing, documenting, implementing, and/or supporting ERP computer systems.

Experience in developing dynamic web applications using languages such as HTML or PHP.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics:
Experience with Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Ability to manage several tasks at one time, prioritize, and react appropriately to emergency situations.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in order to communicate effectively and work with a variety of computer users at different levels of expertise.

Pay Rate: $48,370 - $57,437 annual salary depending on experience
