Conduct Officer

Coastal Carolina University invites applications for the position of Conduct Officer. This position will report to the Assistant Dean for Student Conduct in the Dean of Students Office. The Conduct Officer will coordinate and process student conduct referrals within the University Housing residence halls.

Duties include, but are not limited to: serving as a conduct officer, managing the conduct caseload within the University Housing residence halls; assisting in the education of the students in the residence halls; supporting special projects within the Dean of Students Office related to student conduct initiatives.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of full-time professional experience to include previous experiences as a student conduct officer are required.  Master’s Degree in student affairs, higher education or related field and two (2) years of related experience are preferred.  A successful candidate will also have excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills; strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills; experience in working with college students on a residential campus; ability to work evenings and weekends as needed; and ability to provide exemplary customer service.
