JOB SUMMARY:

 

Provides support to the plant by processing customer orders for shipment via various shipping methods.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

 

• Prepare and ship customer orders using hand-held r/f scanning device
• Ability to process parcels through the UPS & FedEx Systems

• Handling of Hazardous Material
• Interact with production departments and customer service
• Operate of various material handling equipment
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe work habits in accordance with Lean and 5S
• Routing of shipments to appropriate carrier
• All other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

• Computer proficiency.
• Experience operating laboratory equipment.
• Ability to practice good department safety.
• Meticulous attention to detail required.

 

EDUCATION

 

• HS Diploma or GED
