Position Summary Information

Position Summary
The financial aid counselor will provide thorough counseling for our students and families. The incumbent will provide outreach concerning financial aid processes and procedures. Additionally this position will take the lead with Federal verification.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of financial aid experience.
Successful performance in an on-campus interview also required.

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced financial aid experience with Federal verification exposure and experience; Banner experience; working in higher education environment; and experience working with diverse populations.
The Financial Aid Counselor must be highly organized and possess a strong commitment to providing excellence customer service.
