Assistant Professor

The Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh announces a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, pending budgetary approval, in Biological and Health Psychology to begin Fall of 2019. The Biological and Health Psychology Program is a premier research and training program emphasizing multilevel, multidisciplinary, and mechanistic approaches to understanding behavioral contributions to chronic disease, health behaviors, and well-being throughout the lifespan. We seek candidates who will help us build on one or more of our established areas of interest. We are especially interested in candidates whose work examines mechanisms of reward and self-regulation in addiction and health behavior; biological or molecular processes linking behavior and health; lifespan longitudinal processes in behavior and health; and social health disparities.
