Tenure-Track Faculty Positions

The Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine is soliciting applications for TENURE - TRACK faculty positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. Applications from exceptional individuals at more senior academic rank will also be considered. The Department has a strong commitment to research in stem and germ cell biology and its application to regenerative medicine and reproductive science, cancer biology/oncology and the neurosciences. Candidates with basic and translational research interests in any these areas are encouraged to apply. The School is located at the heart of the University's Philadelphia campus in a highly interactive biomedical research environment. The successful candidates will be recruited to the Department and will be able to affiliate with University-wide Institutes and Centers including the Abramson Cancer Center, the Institute for Regenerative Medicine, the Institute for Immunology and/or the Mahoney Institute for Neurosciences. Applicants must have a Ph.D., MD, VMD / DVM or equivalent degree and productive postdoctoral training. The successful applicant will receive a substantial start-up package, state-of-the-art research space and will have access to numerous core facilities that provide advanced technologies. The successful applicant will be expected to lead an outstanding extramurally funded research program and contribute to the teaching mission of the Department.
