Romance Languages Full-time Lecturer in French

The Department of Romance Languages invites applications for a full-time, one-year appointment (non-tenure-track) as Lecturer to teach French language (all levels) and French and Francophone cultures in an undergraduate program committed to dynamic instruction and innovative pedagogy. Start date mid-August 2017. Possibility of annual renewal for up to an additional two years, contingent upon satisfactory performance and approval of the Dean. Position includes a teaching load of 6 courses.
Required qualifications: Ph.D in French, ABD considered. Native or near-native linguistic ability in both French and English. Excellent teaching credentials, with at least two years' experience teaching languages and culture-based courses at the university level using recent classroom technologies. Demonstrated ability to teach introductory courses in Business French desired; experience or interest in coordinating lower-level language courses also welcome.
