Tenure-Track Assistant Professor – American Politi

Position Summary:

The Department of Political Science at Gettysburg College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Political Science at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2018.

 Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have a commitment to teaching in the liberal arts tradition and show potential for scholarly engagement. The Department of Political Science seeks candidates in the subfields of American Politics and American Political Thought.  The successful candidate is expected to offer introductory courses in political thought and advanced courses in American politics, political thought, and race, ethnicity, and politics.

 A Ph.D. in political science or ABD status is required. The teaching load is 3/2.
