Assistant Director of Digital Strategy

Gettysburg College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Digital Strategy. This position works to support and maintain the web and digital presence of Gettysburg College. This includes assisting and implementing best practices in search engine optimization (SEO) and website usability, developing and publishing digital content, and training the campus content contributors. This position works in all aspects of the day-to-day operations relating to the web and social media.

Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred and at least 1-3 years of professional experience. Required skills include working with content management systems, HTML, CSS, and Google Analytics. Knowledge of web usability and accessibility essential. Preferred skills include experience with Google Adwords, social media advertising, Adobe Creative Suite, and multimedia production. Gettysburg College seeks candidates who have the communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members.
